There are 4 levels of Mathical Creatures worksheets, aligned to Years 3-6 of Australian Curriculum.

Each Year is named after a mythical creature. Some children find doing worksheets from a year other than their current year, demoralising. So if your child is in Year 4 and is struggling to do Year 4 worksheets, you can opt to use Year 3 worksheets. But to your child they are doing Unicorn worksheets rather than Dragon worksheets.

If your child is in…

Year 3- Unicorn level worksheets. 

Work through this level until there are no ‘Learning Opportunity’ found. Move to Dragon level to progress.

Year 4 – Dragon level worksheets. 

If majority of the questions falls under Learning Opportunity when marking, move to Unicorn level. If there are no ‘Learning Opportunity’ found, move to Griffin level.

Year 5 – Griffin level worksheets. 

If majority of the questions falls under Learning Opportunity when marking, move to Dragon level. If there are no ‘Learning Opportunity’, move to Phoenix level.

Year 6 – Phoenix level worksheets. 

If majority of the questions falls under Learning Opportunity when marking, move to Griffin level. If there are no ‘Learning Opportunity’ and your child is getting all the questions correct…
