The dog worksheets were a great hook to get Harley interested in doing worded maths questions which he usually hates. After sitting down with him to do a few questions, I let him get on. Rather than moaning about having to do it, he was grinning. That’s amazing!

Then Harley worked out from the marking flowchart, he was making mistakes when he rushed through the questions. He’s learnt to slow down and carefully read the questions before jumping in. That’s another win.

With all the missed school during lockdowns, I was worried my daughter was falling behind in maths. These worksheets are perfect as it covers a range of maths topics and we could work out which areas she needs more practice.

I love the growth mindset thinking behind marking. We found the Mark your work and learn sheet useful when she got things wrong. It helped her to think differently and now when there is a wrong answer, she is willing to learn from it.

My son struggles with reading and finds worded maths questions challenging. I helped him read out the questions and he thought the facts on the Endangered Australian Animals were really interesting. It kept him focused and engaged until he finished the worksheets. Great to be able to practice maths and reading at the same time!
